An integrator that forgets

Here a negative feedback loop is added to the integrator.

Rather than a step output this circuit generates an exponentially decaying output.

The rate at which the output decays (i.e. forgets) is dependent on the value of K.

A large K produces a very rapid decay.

A small K produces a very slow decay. When K = 0 the output becomes a step (i.e. no forgetting).
