What are vergence eye movements? |
|
The function of vergence eye movements is
to point the fovea of both eyes on a near object. This means that each eye rotates in the opposite direction (disconjugate): the right eye to the left and the left eye to the right when converging on a near object. All other eye movements are conjugate.
